The time only makes this
cake taste better, as the time goes so does it become more delicious.
This cake
has been an essential part of our Christmas holidays for a very long time.
I
got the recipe from my Grandmother.
Coco Choco Cubes
Ingredients:
Dough:
- 5 dkg butter
- 15 dkg sugar
- 25 dkg flour
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 dl milk
- 2 packages baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg
Chocolate glaze:
- 20 dkg butter
- 20 dkg sugar
- 3 big tbsp dark cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp rum or 1-2 tbsp rum aroma
Additionally:
- 20 dkg coconut grating
Mix the soft butter with the sugar, honey and a pinch
of salt until the dough gets creamy. Add the egg, milk and the flour mixed with
baking powder in the end.
You will get a sticky and thick dough which you have
to spread it in an oven pan (covered with baking paper).
Bake it in the oven for 25-30 minutes (180 C) until it gets golden
brown. After cooling down, cut it into small cubes.
Glaze: On small fire melt the butter, sugar, cocoa and
rum. If the children will also eat from it, use rum aroma.
When it gets creamy, with the help of two forks dip
the cubes one by one into the glaze.
Right after the dipping, roll them in the
coconut grating. Leave the cubes to dry on baking paper and store them in a
cold room.
Woww! Tehát akkor Te is! Őszintén örülök!
